Friday Flicks!

Hope you enjoy. I tried to do some variety to give everyone a chance.
1) “I always thought it'd be better to be a fake somebody than a real nobody.”
2) “Miss Stoeger, I would just like to say that physical education in this school is a disgrace. I mean, standing in line for forty minutes is hardly aerobically effective. I doubt I've worked off the calories in a stick of Carefree gum.”
3) “What are you doing here, honey? You're not even old enough to know how bad life gets.”
“Obviously, Doctor, you've never been a 13-year-old girl.”
4) “________ ________ wanton sex goddess, with a very bad man between her thighs... Dad... Hi.”
5) “Fra-gee-lay. That must be Italian.”
6) “Do not cite the Deep Magic to me Witch. I was there when it was written.”
7) “I wish you could've known your momma back then, you would've loved her.”
“Necie, me not loving momma was never the problem.”
“Her not loving you was never the problem either.”
8) “Neville, you're supposed to stroke it!”
9) “A normal man, given a group photograph of school girls and asked to point out the loveliest one, will not necessarily choose the nymphet among them.”
10) “The thing is, a person's life is like a TV show. I was the star of The Will Show. And The Will Show wasn't an ensemble drama. Guests came and went, but I was the regular. It came down to me and me alone. If Marcus' mum couldn't manage her own show, if her ratings were falling, it was sad, but that was her problem. Ultimately, the whole single mum plotline was a bit complicated for me.”

5. The dad in Christmas Story, talking about the ugly leg lamp!

6. Aslan in Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe.

Um... just based on those two, movies with snow? :) I don't know the others so I'm sure that's way off.

4) Bridget Jones Diary, Bridget Jones, Renee Zelweger

6) Yeah, I knew that one but I see Kelli got it first.

7) Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood...Sandra Bullock. What was her character's name? Sidda I think. And, obviously, Necie.

10) About a Boy, Hugh Grant as Will speaking. (Also starring Toni Collette, whom I love.)

I think I know a few this week...

1) The nail tech in Legally Blonde

4) Bridget Jones in Bridget Jones' Diary

5) The dad in A Christmas Story about his giant box with a "major prize" inside

8) Chicken Run?

9) Humbert Humbert in Lolita (I just read the book!)

I can't see a theme so good job making it both doable and difficult!

I got here too late, as I knew #2-Clueless (Cher) and #7-Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood (Sandra Bullock).

Maybe Julie will be oh-so-generous and give points anyway? :)

I recognize lots more, but can't figure out what from (until seeing some of the answers other have provided). Good quotes!

6 - Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe? Aslan
8 - One of the Harry Potters - probably the 3rd one?

Is the theme High School or middle school....NO! Books turned to movies!

Showing up late is no fun! I knew 4, 6,7 and 8 but have nothing new to add. Good quotes though.
