We're big dark wood fan...I love the new furniture! We're big dark wood fans here, although we're probably going to put in a medium-dark bamboo whenever we get around to that.<BR/><BR/>You asked for suggestions on the bookcase and the only one I have is IKEA has plain metal bookends. They're flush to the books so they're not very noticeable, but they still look sharp if you're up close.<BR/><BR/>Hooray for the big-screen HDTV! We're getting to the point where every single thing we watch is cut off on the sides and it's so annoying. Not to mention the noise that the 15-year-old set makes. It's even more noticeable when you mute the TV. It's not the budget for a while, so can I live vicariously through you? :)<BR/><BR/>One thing that I think about with decorating is that even back in the 50's very few people had 100% brand-new stuff. Like in our house, I like that we have a few antique pieces. And some things that are more modern than contemporary. I like the mix of styles.<BR/><BR/>Georgia is BEAUTIFUL!
